Once - Lies
Another great song from the film.
Its so moving when he is looking into the old videos of them and especially her he took when he was happy and how hard it is when all is left of two and their love and happiness are just memories in videos that when you look at, you cant remember anymore who those two people smiling are, or where did all those smiles disappear into even though your looking straight at a face that is you.
ONCE: Falling Slowly
I just watched this movie yesterday and its amazing I highly recommend it. Its romantic but in a non Hollywood realistic way. The songs capture your heart along with the story. If you want something refreshing and artistic low budget and cinematic then see this it will restore your faith in film making as an art and not just a box office hit list.

My interests through the two years on Fun Lilliy
1- Movies
2- Music
3- Books
4- TV shows
5- Fashion
6- Shopping
7- Women issues
8- Entertainment news
9- YouTube Videos.
10-Social media
11-Pop culture
12- New recourses, websites, and blogs.
!3- Personal thoughts.
I spend a good amount of time on the internet and mostly trying to find new websites to read, explore and follow. The more it is organic and new the more fun it is to explore. The web sites now are very creative and they evolve quickly at times into something that gains a lot of popularity. I call them web celebrities.
Another face of the internet that I am interested in is social media. I always sign up on them give them a trial and see what they have to offer. Sometimes I come back and sometimes I never go back. I try to figure out how I can benefit by using them or how they waist my time going in circles.
I still enjoy the oldies but goodies. We have the usual television shows, movies, music and books entertainment sector. Guess what? All those now have websites too.
To sum it all up I am interested in web entertainment, web pop culture, and web social media.
How am I going to implement all that interests here? Good question. My answer is that I have been doing that but not in a focused matter. Not in a beneficial matter. It has been fun, yes. But now what?
This time when I am going to share something on a post, it will be more researched. I will try to answer questions. These are examples:
Who is the creator?
When was it created?
What is the niche of the site?
What entertainment it has to offer?
What is my review of the site?
Why I think you would like to visit that site?
All that goes also for social media with the addition on how to make it easier to use?
I will try writing it without using fancy technical words that other web nerds try to confuse us with.
In conclusion the niche for this blog will be about exploring Web Sites, Web Entertainment, and Social Media!
Each post will go through one website that I will come across with a review. Does that sound fun? I hope so…
Write to you soon…

Changing the niche for Fun Lilliy
It has been two years since I started this blog. I noticed that many of the visitor’s kind of get confused at times how to categorize it. Most blogs I visit even before I read their posts I rather have an idea what to expect. I do not think that is the case here. Therefore, I want to narrow my niche. In order to do so I am going to see what I did enjoy posting through out the two years, and what are my interests in a more focused approach.
One of my passions is traveling and for that, I have launched a separate website Travel Sight with Lilliy as that will be dedicated only to my traveling experiences, photos and videos. Therefore, that is done. Now for my other interests.
Through the next month and so, this blog will be going through major renovation. Implementation of what I am learning will go on in my travel site posts for now. This site however the changes will be after I am ready for it.
I have done so much research and reading on how to improve my blogging and relearning to use the social medias on hand. They are becoming important tools for blogging and communicating with in your preferred blogsphere community. I will share this progression step by step on this blog. I want to learn from others as well so if you have tips, and helping comments, or if you are going through the same thing please share it with all in the comment box.
Sharing interesting topics and web finds will be posted in social media accounts like twitter, and delicious. They are my favorites and I use them all the time. I have a BlogCatalog account from long ago which like this blog hasn’t been active. I am reutilizing that recently. As for my accounts on Digg, stumble upon, and thechnorati I am still learning its usage. I will try to learn how to optimize there use or just ignore them if I did not like them to focus just on a few.
In summary,
1- Renovation processes have started for this blog.
2- Minimizing the niche for this blog. Going for a more focused approach.
3- Reading and learning from the web and other bloggers.
4- Sharing all that I have read with links here.
5- Learning how to use the many social media tools and their tricks here.
6 - Deciding which social media tools are for the long run and which to ignore.
7- Continue my love for sharing but will be focused from now only on twitter and delicious .
8- Continue posting on my travel blog, adding what I learn along the way on my posts on that site until this site is ready.
9- Reconnecting with the blogsphere community with in my niche.
10- Encourage others to give their feedback, comments and their own tips.
I already have a simple theme look that is easy on the eyes. That is crossed out.
My posts will be at the end of the day Jeddah time usually to summaries my browsing so look out for those posts..
Write to you soon..

TV entertainment news in The Middle East: Miss Lebanon 09 Winner
Sitting flipping through the TV yesterday complaining that there was nothing to watch, and that in The Middle East TV satellite channels dont have any original shows or local productions that are worth watching. Unless it is the month of Ramadan when all the new TV series launch.
On LBC I found The Miss Lebanon 09 Beauty Pageant Contest showing at the moment when the contestants started answering the questions. I was astonished that most didn't have any insightful answers and most were superficial except three who were the ones chosen to be Miss Lebanon and her two runner ups.
I think the winner Martine Endrawos among the others was the best chosen she is pretty showed intelligence and confidence that will do will in Miss Universe and Miss World.
The show it self was entertaining The presenter was able to keep you in suspense and there was plenty of dance and song. Singers Nancy Ajram and Wael Kfoury performed but you can see that they were lip syncing. The firework was overdone it almost seemed like it was going to set the whole stage on fire and you couldn't see the people on stage anymore.
This is the clip for the last 10 min of the contest.
Watch how the former Miss Lebanon of last year was really unhappy to give up her crown. I thought that was funny.
overall was entertaining. I give it a thumbs up.

Craig Ferguson Monologue 2009.03.11 (HQ)
It just doesn’t seem bed time with out watching the end of the night Craig opening show monologue.. I got into the habit of watching him 4 years ago it started in New York.. usually we watched the monologue and that would be it.. when I came back home its not on the usual channels on MBC or Dubai One so I used to watch on hid show website it was posted a few days after it aired on TV. But then recently they have restrictions bec its you cant view it if you are not living in the US.. then I was watching it on YouTube CBS channel.. then that also became restricted ( that is @#$%) .. now I found various YouTube channels that post which I am so thankful for.. it puts a smile on my long day ending.. he sees or makes us see the humor in daily live news and current events and people.. teaches us not to be so serious.. its the end of the night for goodness sake.. so laugh with me..
Funny Happy Hippo "The lion sleeps tonight"

I love these photos on:
"Obama's People" in The New York Magazine with the nice commentary check it out.
I also liked this interactive page they had set with all the inaugural addresses of all the 43 presidents before Obama under:

Inaugural Words: 1789 to the Present
A look at the language of presidential inaugural addresses. The most-used words in each address appear in the interactive chart below, sized by number of uses. Words highlighted in yellow were used significantly more in this inaugural address than average.
I am trying to find links to watch the inauguration on the web in my clinic in between patients till this time I found these links:

Kal Penn Announces USAService.org Video Contest
I always believed in the power of all these web tools that we now have in our position ( YouTube, Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, Myspace) I had friends when I started blogging 2 years ago giving sarcastic comments as if getting your opinion out and sharing your interest might be insignificant.. but in the long run I have learned a lot from blogging, YouTubing, twittering...all the different social media and web tools... in these areas I got to see the intellectual and the silly but fun. I learned to express myself in many ways..
This YouTube post is an example of how much you can utilizing these web tools to be beneficial.. to help.. to involve..
I always and always talked about this or keep mentioning it that I don’t think we utilize these tools more often in KSA for more of an educated purposes or communicating tools for instance like in my own profession as a way of health education and direct question and answers between the doctor and patient as a reference tool.. trying to implement it in my practice has been difficult but I also have a problem with trying to communicate in Arabic in writing which is some thing I have been working on.. I think these tools should be utilized more to the point that it should be routine .. because its just there at our face all we have to do is reach out and grab it like they are doing here.
