ha! Am SAC fan too :) I think my near perfect woman, shall have Carrie's sense of style, Charlotte's feminism/conservativeness, Miranda's *ahem* "balls" & attitude - and of course, Samantha's "abilities" (if you know what I mean ;)

Looking forward to the movie release on May 30th - friends and I have made plans to catch it on the 31st.

Think it's gonna be a good one.

haha! yeah men want it all, hey -so do women, aight:) I guess there isn't anyone who has it "all" and perhaps that is the beauty in us beings :)

I loved SAC for being honest. In a way SAC "inspired" several (girl)friends to just get out and live up their lives.

That is true.. it always inspired me.. especially that in saudi women and families are obsessed with marriage that its the only way to be alive and I always been kind of their runaway bride every time one of those saudi men come and ask for marriage I just want to run away I become claustrophobic.. honest!.. I always had this conflict that its better to wait for the right guy and living life to the fullest than being stuck in a marriage that is suffocating just to please a society that wont be there in my bedroom when i have to sleep each night with someone I don't even like.. but seeing SAC really kind of visualized that even western women are looking for love and its difficult to find the Mr. Right because we are as humans are complex creatures.. but it doesn't mean that life stops till you find him.. if you find him? .... life goes on and it it can still be great..

It's not just Saudi. Desi culture revolves around marriage too, even for men. It's like I shall fall over the face of earth or something, if I don't get hitched. At times mom, out of desperation goes, get hitched, then ditch it - so I can say, well things didn't work out :) Dad does not care, his POV is totally the opposite.

You know, I appreciate an honest woman - I don't care how many past relationships or baggage she has had, because let's face it - guys really play around, much much more than women folks. So as long as, she is honest with me and we start on a clean slate with mutual respect for one another, things shall be fine.

You are correct - sometimes the greatest joys can be found in absolute solitude :)

I liked the movie. I must admit, I liked it more because it was nice to see the girls back together. The story line was sort of thin - not much to read into, however it felt quite nice to be back in the SAC world. My friends, both guys and girls had similar sentiments as I. It's a feel good movie, with subtle humour - something for a good pass time.
